Día de Muertos

Come and join us for Día de los Muertos / Día de los Difuntos to set an altar in memory of environmental activists and Indigenous land defenders who have been murdered in Latin America in recent years. This event will be an opportunity for the Williams community to discuss state violence against Indigenous communities and mother earth. We will be honoring the memory and work of activists Bertha Caseres from Honduras, Homero Gomez and Samir Flores from Mexico, Bruno Pereira from Brazil, and Virgilio Trujillo from Venezuela, among many others.
