WSP Travel Course: Williams in Georgia

Are you hoping to travel during Winter Study this year? Does the thought of visiting the Republic of Georgia in the Caucasus appeal to you? Williams has a unique program in Georgia that lets you live with a Georgian family while completing a three-week internship in the area of your choice. In addition to an internship, you’ll also have the chance to experience Georgian culture through museum visits, concerts, lectures, meetings with Georgian students, and excursions. Participants in the program are housed in pairs with English-speaking families in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital city. You’ll submit weekly reports on your work while in Georgia, as well as an overall reflection once you return to campus.

If you’re interested in Williams in Georgia, you’ll need to attend the informational meeting for this Winter Study travel course, which takes place on Sunday, September 25, 7-8 pm, in Hollander 241. For questions and to express your interest in this Winter Study travel opportunity, contact Professor Julie Cassiday at [email protected].
